Fill in the required fields to build your link…
Build campaign links with UTM parameters in seconds, so every visit from an email, ad or post shows up in your analytics under the right source, medium and campaign.
01
Source, medium and campaign
The three parameters that tell analytics where a visit came from and why.
02
Optional term and content
Extra detail for paid keywords or for telling two links in the same email apart.
03
Clean, consistent links
Lowercase, encoded values, so 'Email' and 'email' don't split your reports.
04
Copy in one click
Copy the finished link straight into your email, ad or post.
- 1
Paste your page address
The landing page you want people to visit.
- 2
Fill in the parameters
Where the link will be shared (source), the type of channel (medium) and the campaign name.
- 3
Copy and use it
Use the tagged link in your campaign, then find it in your analytics reports.
Consistent naming
The same lowercase names every time, such as 'newsletter' and 'email', so reports group correctly.
Mixed naming
'Facebook', 'facebook' and 'fb' appear as three different sources and split your data.
Tags on internal links
UTMs on links within your own site overwrite the real source of the visit. Only tag external links.
Without UTM tags, visits from emails, social posts and some ads land in your analytics as 'direct' or 'referral', and you can't tell which campaign earned them. Tagged links show exactly which channels and messages bring visitors, leads and sales.
About the campaign URL builder.
Short tags added to the end of a link (such as ?utm_source=newsletter) that tell analytics tools where a visit came from.
